What is my Square online site name and what does Weebly Performance plan give

I recently upgraded my website within Square Online to Weebly Performance plan. In the checkout it said I am paying for my site for 1 year + Includes 1 year domain. I have 2 questions here:

1. What does 1 year domain mean? I had my domain registered with another domain registrar already. As part of the Weebly Performance plan upgrade am I paying twice for the same domain name? - one with my original domain registrar (that has an annual subscription that I paid) + within Weebly?

2. What is my website name now? I only see an option to customize domain name, within Square online's dashboard -> website -> General Settings. This again takes me to "connect" to a domain that I own / get a square subdomain (this subdomain thing I don't want).

In short, I want to know what did I also get 1 yr of domain name as part of buying to Performance weebly ? What is my current website name? Where can I find this?

Hi @sayra

my website is not live yet. It is under secondchancerecords. My email address that I use for login is alter.

Please note that I went ahead with the option of "use domain name from another provider" under customize site name. I used the domain name https://secondchancerecords.ca that I bought from Sibername, Squareup recognized the domain name, provided me with WWW record and A record which I have updated in the DNS registrar's domain settings aswell. But I am still not sure whether when the website is published from within Square, I will have it as www.secondchancerecords.ca . Please let me know if you need more details

I reached out to one of our Weebly Specialist to review your account. We suggest that you start by logging into your Sibername account and removing the domain from the Settings tab. If you don’t see an option to unlink the domain, please reach out to Sibername support for assistance.

@sayra : Help me to understand this please. How will removing Domain from Sibername help to publish my Square online website under the domain name I purchased in Sibername? At this point I feel there is a disconnect and I feel helpless. Following is the steps I follow:

1. I try to publish my square up online website by hitting "Publish" . It takes me to a page to either connect to an already existing domain or use custom subdomain in Square.

2. Since I already bought a domain in Sibername and is under annual subscription, I use that to connect by keying in my domain name (secondchancerecords.ca) and hit "Verify".

3. Square says "it is able to verify the domain name" and takes me to a screen where it displays A record and WWW record and asks me to enter this in my domain registrar account which I have done (Its been 3 weeks since I did this).

4. Now what else Square needs to publish my Square online site under this URL? Strangely, every time I attempt to publish my website, it keeps bringing back the screen where it gives me option to use "Square subdomain or use a domain that I have elsewhere" and the above steps 1-3 repeats.

Please help! All I want is, this. I have a Square Weebly Performance plan. I am developing my website in Square Online. I have a Square POS that is synced to Square Online. I own a domain with Sibername which I want to be my Square online website's URL. why is it not happening? I call the customer service and they say if I repeatedly face the same problem (which I am) the only option is to transfer my Sibername domain to Weebly / Square. Please clarify if that is the only option. I have spent enough money on this, that I don't want to again pay one time transfer fee and monthly fee in Square, when I am already in an annual subscription with another domain provider. Square says it can connect to other domains. If that claim is true why doesn't it work for me ?
