Can I have different variations for an item available online than in store?

Hi all

Can I make certain variations unavailable online? I want to sell custom size in the store, and only certain pre-set sizes online - do I need to set up 2 separate items? That isn't going to track inventory properly....

What we do is we create another location and name it "Online".

When we input our variations, we can enable for online store or just in store.

Sorry - still not getting it. I can change the options or variations but it just overrides back to the POS items. I need to be able to have all options available in store, and all but one available online.... I just can't seem to get it to work both ways, even with a second location, for one inventory.....

Please see the image below.

The item is available for "Newmarket" location (in-store) but not available for online.

can you also uncheck mark the "available online" as well.
