Can I activate the Shopping Cart feature for Online Checkout?

I am using Online Checkout for about 15 items, all of which I've created links for, and attached those links to "Click Here to Purchase" buttons on my website. Individual purchases work fine, however, it appears that I can't activate a Shopping Cart for the purchase of Online Checkout items, and therefore each item has to be purchased and paid for separately. Is there a way to have a Shopping Cart for Online Checkout items? Thanks.

Hi @RTHS Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Online Checkout links will only allow you to purchase one item at a time. If you want to have more of a cart experience you would need to setup a Square Online store.

Here's the initial setup steps from our getting started guide here.

If you’ve already signed up for Square, you can get started with Square Online right from your online Square Dashboard by following the directions below:

From your online Square Dashboard, select Online.
Select Get Started.
Choose to either set up a single online ordering page, or a multi-page ecommerce website.
Choose your business type (i.e. what are you selling?), select your preferred order fulfillment method(s) (e.g. shipping, pickup, or delivery), and set up other features based on your business needs.

Your items that you created for Online Checkout Links should automatically sync to the store so you can sell them through your site. 🙂

Thanks BernadetteA -- I suspected that was the case, but just wanted to confirm that I hadn't overlooked a switch somewhere in the Online Checkout options.
