Enable E-transfer Option for Payment Method

Hello!! I have some customers that would like to pay for their online order through e-transfer. Is there a way to have a selection option available called "E-Transfer" and once they select and submit their order, we will have a notification for this?

Right now the website is forcing customers to only pay via credit or paypal. Otherwise I would have to send them an invoice separately and mark payment as other.

Please let me know. Thanks

Welcome back to the Community, @LittlestGiftBou -

Right now, there are limited options in accepting "E-Transfers" as payments from your customers.

Invoices are the only platform that you can accept "E-Transfers" or ACH payments. Being able to add this as a payment type would be a Feature Request for our Product Team.

I know a lot of sellers would like to see the expansion of accepting ACH type payments all throughout Square, so I can add your voice to it.

That would be wonderful thank you! I have tons of customers that prefer this payment method so I would love to have this option available for them so it's convenient instead of having to email me to create a custom invoice.

I would like to see this as an option too please! We have to send out separate invoices to customers that will not pay by cc or paypal.

I would also like this feature as I too have to send out separate invoices outside of Square for my wholesale customers who pay by cheque or e-transfer only.

Etransfer payment options on website at checkout

Hi everyone and Happy new year!

Currently, my website does not have the option for etranfer payments at checkout for my customers. I am in Canada and the majority of my customers pay via etransfer all year as that is their preferred method here. This causes alot of customers to not pay via the website without the etransfer option. Square currently does not have this option and it causes alot of missed website orders as they look at the website then message me to order via etransfer. Is there any way we can get this set up for Canadian businesses?

I would like to add our name to this request as well please. A majority of our customers pay via etransfer and by not having it available on our website, we have alot of customers messaging us to order instead of completing their transactions via the website.

Yes, please make this an option! I was just looking for how to add this. Is there a workaround to be able to add a custom payment option, or where can I put a note that will show my customers they can e-transfer at checkout?
Just about everyone in Canada uses e-transfers as their preferred payment option.

Currently, these are the payment options your customers can use for Square Online payments. As for a workaround, I suggest that you connect with the Square Online team so you can discuss your options, based on your business needs.You can contact their team through this form.

We literally just need to be able to have someone select etransfer the same way they do cash at pick up, it should not need an API or a 3rd party app. I ended up going with ecwid for my website and connected it to square because they let me create manual payment options and I could add etransfer as a choice at check out. this is really something that is a simple thing that should just be a selection in the checkout. people send etransfers from their own online banking, it literally has nothing to do with any kind of processor, or anything else. We literally just need it there as a payment choice just like cash.

Please add me to the request list as well. I dont like using an other platform just to make an invoice to send my customers as i have a catering business/pop up business and i feel like just having one platform such as Square and everything in one place is so much better than opening too much website. Also with etransfer, hoping that there is no certain fee transaction as it's just transferring money to another bank or so.
