Why do category links go to the Shop all page?

I'm on the free square up plan. Why can't I add a Category as page link? For example, If I have a Featured Category widget and choose the categories, the Shop Now button on that category goes to the Page with ALL the items on it. It does go to the correct category on that page but I want it to go to it's own page. Is this because I'm on the free plan or am I missing something?

Yes, you can add a category page as a page link, and you can also edit the link that the Shop Now button routes to. I'm a little confused what you mean by "Shop Now button on that category goes to the Page with ALL the items on it. It does go to the correct category on that page"
