    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you. I have tried low and high brightness with no success. Also trying QR on the Apple Wallet and barcode in the web based with no success. I did find success with entering the egiftcard number manuall but it is inefficient.&amp;nbsp;I bought the scanner exclusively for scanning egiftcards.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying to scan the egiftcard barcode or QR code that is on the screen of a phone with a usb scanner connected to the square terminal, but it is not working. The USB scanner is the one that is on the Square website.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it the wrong scanner or is there a setting I need to enable?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you - Devon&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;At first I thought this might be down to brightness adjustments- sometimes, it's hard for a scanner to read a code when the phone's brightness is low. But I realise you're using a Square Terminal, and right now, redeeming gift card balances via QR code or a barcode scanner is only available on iOS devices. I'll pass this feedback on to our team for consideration! &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
