It's a 2nd gen reader that suddenly started disconnecting after the green light went on and the customer tapped, it would go off. Then, with a lag time "connection error" "reader disconnected." Wait a few seconds, then hit charge again; the square might try to reconnect. If it does, the green light goes on, and sometimes a message appears. I'm at a busy market, but the day before this started was far more active and we had no issues. Now, it's every other transaction.
