How can I sync my item library with other platforms like Pinterest ?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to connect my product catalog from Square to other platforms like Pinterest, but I’m running into a few issues:

Automatic Sync: I can’t find a way to sync Square items with Pinterest automatically. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Manual Export: When I export my catalog manually, the column headings don’t match Pinterest’s requirements. I can fix this each time I upload, but it’s not ideal.
Missing Image Links: The biggest problem is that the Square export doesn’t include image links, which makes the process even more challenging.
API: Is there an easy way to use API for this?

Has anyone dealt with this before? I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions!

1. At this time, there isn't a way to sync your Square inventory with Pinterest automatically. We do have a direct partnership with eclincher, which integrates with Pinterest, however it seems more marketing oriented. It's still worth contacting them to check if inventory sync is included though!

2. Unfortunately catalog templates are usually not a one-template-fits-all. The item library template you download from your Dashboard is specific to Square and each platform would have their own template. I understand this is a lengthy process, but manually updating the file is currently the only way.

3. The ability to export images when downloading the item library is currently a feature request. Our Product team is aware of the demand, and we'll let you know if it becomes available on the Community Product Updates page.

4. There may be a way to use Square Developer. We don't provide assistance on this, but you can contact their dedicated support team here, or join the forum.
