Charging Tax on Shipping Online Orders

Hello, We are finding that the Square Online is charging taxes on our taxable items but not on our shipping. The searches that I did led me to this screen and told me to check the box 'Charge taxes on shipping', which we did but it is not. Is there something else I need to do.

Square Online order taxes will apply upon billing and shipping address acceptance on the Square Online checkout process. From your screenshot, it looks like everything is set to charge taxes to the applicable Regions. If this isn't the case, I would appreciate a Screenshot that details the expected behavior and a link to your site so that I can take a closer look for you.

Hi JJ, Thanks for looking at this. Here is a screenshot of the checkout, there is no tax being charged on the shipping. It should be 13%. Our website is https://www.kricklewoodfarm.com/

If this helps, here is a screenshot of our shipping profiles. We only have 2. One for Ontario and one for rest of Canada. We only ship within Canada. Free shipping for orders above $125, $12.99 for orders under within Ontario, incremental rates for rest of Canada. I don't think it has anything to do with this but maybe....

Any input you would have would be appreciated.

Thank you for providing these details, @kricklewoodfarm.

I confirmed with our Ecom team that Square Online is working as intended. Shipping rates for nontaxable items will also be non-taxable.

This is not the 'Best Answer' as it should be charging tax on shipping and it isn't. It has nothing to do with whether an item is taxable or not, the shipping is and should be taxed. Please advise.
