Adding a "New" tag to Square online items

Hi there,

I want to add a "New" tag to my new items in my online store, just like how sale items have a red "Sale" tag next to the item image. I can't find any way to do this or other threads about this when searching. Thanks for any help!

This would be a feature request. I encourage you to make the request, and explain how it would work and how it would help you. mock images can also help push it forward.

However, there is a hack I use to filter items on my site, you can create links to filtered searches.

https://www.jtpets.ca/s/shop?page=1&limit=60&sort_by=created_date&sort_order=desc

will for example list all items by newest created in your system

https://www.jtpets.ca/s/shop?page=1&limit=60&sort_by=name&sort_order=asc&item_deals=on_sale

will for example list all items on sale in order of name A-Z

I then have a "home" shopping page that links to these types of presets:
