Selling tickets to local tours

I sell tickets to walking tours of Salem MA over the Halloween tourist surge. There are multiple folks in town doing so and we have some restrictions such as the number of participants depending on a license for 10, 30, or 40 tourists. THis means we need to be able to take note of kids say under 6 who are free, and older kids / seniors who are getting half off but take a full space in the tour.

Also, I may have 4 major tour classifications as well as morning afternoon and night time slots. I would like to avoid cloning the class all the time in order to limit the tickets to the number it supposed to be.

Can those issues be handled currently? Should I simply sell event tickets that are exchanged for the tour. This concept is somewhat new as the tour host will be a well known street performed, and hopes are that next season we can get several more to work with our team.

Lastly this is last minute, but I can only start taking tour reservations on Sept 15, 2025 and will have to have something available as of that day.

I'd like to know a little more about how you're selling the tickets to your tours, so I can provide the best suggestions. Are you selling tickets through your Square Online Store, or using Square Appointments to schedule the touring times?

You can create multiple slots in a day and set limits on the total capacity as well as for each ticket type. Plus we issue digital tickets that can be added to apple/google wallets.
