Square date does not automatically update the date each day.

I've followed these directions, most importantly #4, but Square still doesn't automatically update the date each day.

Update Date & Time on Your iOS Device

From your home screen, navigate to Settings.
Tap General.
Tap Date & Time.
Make sure that the option Set Automatically is turned on.

Square doesn't update the time on your device, that would be your iOS settings instructions - what exactly is your issue? can you provide screenshots?
