Ongoing security query

I published my site on Friday https://www.whatif.community it is still showing as insecure after more than 48 hours.

I have read previous threads mentioning moves to weebly and discontinuation of square online

I cannot run an online business if it does not show as secure -

I have done the - clear history and unpublish republish "fixes" but still have the problem. The whole idea of using square online was to maintain my stock records - can you please advise if this is possible or not.

This seems to have been going on since at least 2018, we're now at 2021 surely this has been rectified by now.

If this is not possible please advise in order for me to return to my original site.

Hi @CatherineWhatIf, really sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue! From looking at the website, I can see that it's missing an A record. This might be why the website is showing as insecure.

For the site to be secure, we'll need both A records to point to the same correct IP address which is 199.34.228.164

If you are running into an issue changing the A record, it'll be worthwhile to contact your domain registrar/the company you purchased the domain from directly.

Sorry to hear this issue has brought you here.

Do you have a Square Online site & custom domain or have you pointed your site from another site to Square?

Can you post a link to your store here so I can take a look at the DNS records? If they are incorrect or have been edited in the last 24-48 hours, it could cause your site to appear as not secure.
