Why when I make a Square Online sale of something not listed on Etsy do they (Etsy) take 15p plus vat. They’re not in anyway involved in the transaction.

If its not being listed on Etsy, Etsy have no need to take a fee so I'd say no, if they are taking a fee when the product isn't being listed there then why. In conclusion... No.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to this Matt, I agree it’s not on but they’ve done it ! I’ve got a feeling it’s to do with syncing, a lot of my website items aren’t synced to Etsy (this one certainly wasn’t). From my last experience of syncing I’m loathe to go anywhere near it because it wiped most of my pictures and stock settings.

Really need a definitive answer from Etsy on this as to why.

Contact Etsy immediately, to be honest if you have square I wouldn’t say you need Etsy as things are a lot more free with square but it’s all personal preference

Thanks, yes I intend to wean myself off Etsy once the website is a little more established.
