Does prep time affect the opening times

We currently serve food until 8.45 and have that set on the website, but we have our prep time as 30 minutes for most items, will this affect people ordering after 8.15pm?

We have had a few people try to order after 8.15 and they cant seem to do it, is that down to the prep time?

If we changed the time to 9.15pm then it shows on our website that we are serving till 9.15pm and we don't want that to happen. But we would like to accept orders all the way up to 8.45

What do you current fulfilment settings look like? Are your customers ordering for pickup or delivery or both?
