Square Online Checkout - how to remove the "Add a Gift Card" option

In the Square Online checkout screen and the PAYMENT INFORMATION section customers get prompted to "Add a Gift Card" and "Add a Coupon Code". I do not use Gift Cards. How do I remove that option?

I looked into this on my end and at the moment, there isn't a way to remove the option to Add a Gift Card at checkout on the Square Online site. I can see how this would be an useful feature for businesses to have, so I'll be sure to share your feedback with the appropriate team for consideration.

Is there an update on this? I'd like to be able to remove the option to take gift cards from the management web site.

I want our iPad POS's to not offer the "pay with gift card" option?

While you can't remove gift cards on your online store, you can edit the payment options on your iPad by following these steps:

From the navigation bar, tap ≡ More.
Tap Settings > Checkout > Payment.
To rearrange, drag and drop by tapping and holding the six dots next to the payment type name.
Tap "X" to the right of the payment type to remove it from your checkout screen.
- Note: You can re-add the payment type at any time by scrolling down to "Disabled payment types" and dragging it back up to "Main payment types".
Use the Preview button at the top of the screen to preview your new checkout screen.
