Hi @JayAshton, thanks for your post and for the screenshots, they are very helpful.

I get that resizing images is a manual process and time-consuming, however, there are some size guidelines that we need to meet when it comes to Square Online images.

We recommend using an image with a 1:1 aspect ratio that’s at least 2,000 x 2,000 pixels large. Anything lower than 2,000 x 2,000 could result in blurry images.

I'd also suggest running through some testing with the item ratio for your images, it may help find more common ground.

To choose your aspect ratio for all of your Square Online item images:

From your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Item Preferences or Shared Settings > Item Preferences.

Under Layout, select Edit and choose your item image ratio.

Select Save when finished.

Inconsistent Image Auto-Fitting

Hello,

I'm sure I'm not the only person with this issue but searching hasn't brought anything up...

I'm building an online store. Some product images auto-fit by height (which is what I want!) but some auto-fit by width.

The images are often sourced from other websites or embedded images on email. I don't believe that resizing everything in Photoshop is time efficient or necessary and that there must be something else amiss here...? I can't even tweak the masked area...

The screen shots below illustrate why it matters:

This is what I'm looking to achieve.

Right... so no easy in-app image editor like there is with Wix or Shopify... 😔
