Charging a fee for pick up

We would like to creating a packing fee for pick up orders. Is this possible using Square Online, or can we only create shipping charges for delivery?

Hi @jawida 👋 thanks for your post.

We don't have an automated option to add a service fee for Pickup at the moment, this would be a feature request.

Depending on your business type you could add this fee into your prices as a workaround or if that won't work, create copies of the items available for pickup and include the fee in the price.

For example, if you want to sell Cookies available for Pickup and Delivery you could create 2 versions of Cookies.

Cookies for Delivery

Cookies for Pickup with the fee included in the price

You can then set the fulfilment setting per item from there to ensure customers are paying the correct price.

Other than that, if we do have any updates on Pickup fees becoming available in future, I'll let you know here.
