Apologies for asking, I see it comes up a lot but it's been a while since asked: how do you do SEO images?

It's easy to generate images for social media on other website platforms that I've used in the past but I can't see a way to do this with Square product items? Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Hi @KateTiree

As you’re customising images and backgrounds in Square Online, you can add image descriptions to your non-background image content. These descriptions are commonly known as alt text, which help search engines explain what an image is about, especially when the image doesn’t load or a site visitor can’t see it.

To set up SEO for non-background images on your Square Online site:

From your Square Online site editor, open up a page containing non-background images.

Select the section that contains images, and select an image to open up the image options in the editing panel.

Enter in alt text to describe the image.

Publish your site to see the changes live.

Learn more about how to update SEO settings for Square Online websites.
