Postage on second site

I am in the process of setting up a second site for what will be a wholesale side of my business.

Because it's wholesale, things will obviously be slightly different particularly with postage.

Is there a way for me to use different postage settings for my second site at all? I've looked, but to me it looks like I have to use the same settings as my main site which isn't ideal at all.

Some features and settings are shared among all websites in your account, fulfilment being one of those settings.

You must have a ship-from location assigned to each site that will ship online orders. The ship-from location is chosen during the site creation process. All other shipping settings are shared across all sites in your account.

Have you tried setting up different shipping profiles to determine shipping rates by country and service level?

The ship from location is the same address.

A short term solution that I found was that I had to set up a custom shipping option and I've named it 'Wholesale Only'. However, the custom shipping option doesn't come with the same options as Shipping Profiles. For a start, it's only possible to choose 'Per Order' or 'Per Item' and I have had to select 'Specific Items'.

I'm unable to set up another Shipping Profile because I have already chosen United Kingdom and it won't let me do that again.

My current 'Wholesale Only' option should be OK for the time being, but it's not ideal for the long term.

FYI, my main site is flauntitvintage.co.uk and the wholesale site is (currently) https://fivwholesale.square.site/ but I might use the free domain offer for that site when I'm all set up.
