Hi @MUDE, thanks for coming back to this.

The Square Online team confirmed that this layout is working as intended.

The "columns" can only be switched for particular layouts, and only on the desktop version. There is not a way to edit the columns for only mobile at this time. If the desktop version has 2+ columns, the mobile version will show 2 columns. If the desktop version is set to 1 column, the mobile version will show 1 column. The layout they choose does not determine the amount of columns that are shown. If the desktop layout is set to 2+ columns, the mobile version will also have 2 columns no matter which mobile layout is selected.

The mobile layout preview options can be misinterpreted, especially when it appears there should only be 1 column for the layout they selected, however again, the layout doesn't determine the amount of columns. The amount of columns they have set on the desktop version is what determines the amount of columns shown on mobile.

Thanks for your response however that doesn't make much sense considering it was previously the opposite of what you have advised as per my screenshot, the editor was representing exactly what was showing so what changed ? You still haven’t been able to explain why it went from the editor showing to a true representation to an incorrect one. Basically you have come back with a response that sounds as logical as possible and fobbed me off. Thank you for nothing, seems to be a pattern with all the responses i get on square from support, if i highlight my frustration it will just be followed by a reminder of the forum guidelines. Think its time i actually switched to a better provider as there is genuinely nothing holding me back here in the slightest. Thank you 😊
