From your &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Dashboard&lt;/A&gt; :&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;go to &lt;STRONG&gt;Payments&lt;/STRONG&gt; then Gift Cards&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;In Overview, click on the relevant gift card&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Then click on &lt;STRONG&gt;Resend Gift Card&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;However, keep in mind that whoever received the first email, has access to the gift card as well. To play it safe, I'd suggest clearing the balance on the gift card and issuing a new one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;To clear the balance of the gift card :&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Access the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard/gift-cards" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Gift Card tab&lt;/A&gt; of your Dashboard&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Locate the relevant gift card and click on &lt;STRONG&gt;Clear Balance&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Add the current balance amount and &lt;STRONG&gt;Clear&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;To re-issue a gift card, you can either refund the original transaction and charge your customer again, or process a new transaction using a discount code. Since you're not reimbursed the processing fee when refuding a transaction, I'd recommend option two.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;First, create a 100% discount :&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;In your app, go to &lt;STRONG&gt;More&lt;/STRONG&gt; then &lt;STRONG&gt;Items&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click on &lt;STRONG&gt;Discounts&lt;/STRONG&gt; then &lt;STRONG&gt;Create Discount&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Add a name, select &lt;STRONG&gt;%&lt;/STRONG&gt; and add 100 as percentage&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Save&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Add your new egift card to the cart, and add the 100% discount.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;A customer has just messaged to say they have purchased a gift card on my website using the square gift cards option. However he has entered the wrong email address for the recipient. It isnt supposed to be sent until Tuesday so he has asked if I can change it? Is it possible? Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
