How to add a personalisation option to orders in Square Online?

I am in the UK, and sell only in the UK.
I offer some personalised Items, and can get the personalisation to work on the web store, but there is no personalisation on the smartphone shop, and even though I have note to seller ticked in my dashboard, that does not appear at checkout either.
This is key to me.
I have gone through many pages of help online, but cannot fix it.

I'd be happy to help.

To add a personalisation option for your items, you can add a text-box modifier.

You'll need to head to your Modifiers Dashboard > Create a Modifier > Text Modifier

To add the modifier to your items, go to your Item Library > Select an item > Scroll to Modifiers > Select the set you created > Save

Re-publish your site, and you'll see something like this:
