Generate Codes for e-Gift Cards

Is there a way to buy a gift card on the pos. We have it all setup on our website correctly. But can we charge an amount e.g. £20 and then generate a gift card code for this amount which we can then give to the customer. We already have our own nicely designed physical gift cards so are not interested in the square ones, but for these we need an easy way to generate codes to write on them for use on the website.

Currently the only work around I can think of would be for a member of staff to purchase a egift card and then write down the code. But then this would take too long and be complicated financially to reconcile.

If you do this online @Creagle you can generate a lot of codes together (use a discount code to apply 100% discount).

You can then use these codes freely and they'll land together in your inbox.

If you're not looking to create the codes in bulk you could just sell an e-gift card at the point of sale and add that number to your own produced cards at that point.
