How to edit button text

I cannot edit text in buttons. I used to be able to, and have a single button that is edited, but it doesn’t let me edit any of the other ones. Please help.

Hi @mackinzie766 !

Sorry for the delay here...when you click on the text in the button, is it not letting you edit? I was just testing this out, and was able to edit text in the button.

Try clearing your browser cache and then going into the editor to see if you have any luck with editing the text in the buttons.

Let me know if you are still having this issue after trying that! If so, please try to take a screen recording of what you are seeing so I can help you troubleshoot better.

When editing an item using the website on a PC (squareup.com), there used to be an image of the button in the upper right corner that would be the same button that would appear on the iPad POS screen. You could edit both the color of the button and the text inside the button (text was limited to 4 or 5 characters). That image is no longer in the Item>Edit screen. So how do you edit the POS button on the website using a PC?
