Hey there,

Been with square for a little while. I had system message that says "We need to verify your identity".

Said something about unusual activity. When I click the verify it takes me the is this site https://magic.falcon-1-eu.veriff.me/

It looks scammish. Can any one verify whether it's legit or not?

Unfortunately, I'm unable to click on the link you sent. However, if you're seeing the notification when logged in via your online Square Dashboard, it's common to be redirected to a new page to commence the verification process. One way to confirm a request for additional information from Square is to check whether you also received an associated email notification.

Official Square communications are always sent from either an ‘@squareup.com’ or an ‘@weebly.com’ address. You may also occasionally receive emails from our parent company Block, Inc. from an ‘@block.xyz’ address.

In the event you're unsure, the best practice would be to touch base with our Support Team directly to confirm the request.

You can call support on 1800 760 137 (Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm Melbourne time), or contact us via online chat or email. See the below steps.

1. Sign in to your Square account.

2. Head to our contact page https://squ.re/3AWfZs2.

3. Go to "Other", then "I don't see my issue".

4. Click "Message us", "Email us" or "Call Us".

Or, if you see the new chatbot help flow, type “support” to bring up a list of contact methods.
