    <description>&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;Hi &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/660929"&gt;@CC18&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I understand your frustration around the absence of a training environment on the app. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;While I'm not aware of any current plans to introduce a training mode to the Square Point of Sale app, you can view Square's &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/au/en/the-bottom-line/growing-your-team/tips-for-training-your-employees-on-square" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;online guide&lt;/A&gt; to assist users in learning how to use the app and it's features effectively.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In the meantime, I'll continue to pass on the feedback we receive about this feature to our Product Team.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Training Mode</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There has been repeated requests for a "training mode" going back to 2016. It is now 2024 and this is clearly a feature that users need.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;People need the ability to train new staff without messing up their records and incurring costs (refunding a transaction only refunds the sale amount not the processing fees incurred by the account holder).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Current officially suggested workarounds include:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Set up "test" items with small prices. Do some transactions and refund them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DOWNSIDES: Shows up in reports and you still get charged processing fees&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Set up a new account just to use for training.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DOWNSIDES: Have to link it to a bank account and still get charged processing fees.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why on earth has this feature not been implemented?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
