Not able to display accepted payment methods

According to this support article I should be able to display the accepted payment methods in the footer of my website. The toggle seems to be missing for me:

And yes I have Square connected for payments in the checkout section along with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Any reason why this feature is unavailable for me?

@MrWellFed, Thank you for your patience while we collaborated with our ECOM team. It appears you are using a simplified layout that doesn't support the payment icons. As shown in the screenshots below, when a certain layout is selected, the payment method option is not available.

Right, ok. Seems really clumsy, and not at all obvious. Thanks for getting back to me I guess. Only took 3 weeks
