Currency mismatch on Event Tickets integration

Hi there,

I recently set up square here in Australia for my non-profit organisation to take membership payments and sell tickets to events via our website.

For ticketing I've set up Event Tickets plugin and connected it to Square.

My issue is that Event Tickets is telling me there is a currency mismatch between the website and the square gateway. Apparently Square is set up in USD?

Does anyone know how I can check which currency my Square profile is using? Or is this a phone call to Square support type of thing?

I took a look at your website, and I am not seeing anywhere where I can make a test payment. Do you have screenshots you can provide where it is showing up in USD?

Everywhere I am looking shows that your currency is set to AUD, so I am wondering if this is a glitch with the Event Tickets integration. My first thought would be to disconnect the integration and then re-connect to see if it resolves this issue.

I'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Hey @Summer2024 Summer, thanks for reaching out. I'm still in the testing phase so there's nothing accessible for purchase from the front end, sorry 😉

I'll start with your suggestion of disconnecting the plugin, then reconnecting and configuring it. Fingers crossed.

So, no luck with the plugin deactivation. Here's a couple of screenshots to show the configurations for currency. Both shots are from within the Tickets plugin with the first showing the currency setting within Tickets, the second showing what Tickets is picking up from Square.

@BetterByBicyle - Have you tried reaching out to Event Tickets? That is what Advanced Support is recommending. Since everything is correct on Square's side, there might be something going on with the integration, especially since you are using wordpress for your site.
