With the new consolidated Item Library that was created last year, how am I supposed to get a test link for an item for my website? In the old Online -> Items I was able to create a test link to see how an item looked on my website before making it Visible. I'm not finding a way to do this now. I do see an Online Site button in the Item Library, but when I click on it the box that pops up is always blank.

PS I always use Google Chrome.

Hi @NicoleVaughan !

While the old method is no longer available, you can preview how an item looks on your site by temporarily setting its visibility to 'Hidden' in the item settings. This allows you to access the item page without making it fully public.

You can also preview how items look on your site by previewing them in the site editor.

To preview changes to your site, including any recently added items. Simply select Website > Edit Site.

Then, in the toolbar at the top, click Preview. In preview mode, you'll be able to navigate through different pages, like item pages, to check out the newly added items and their details. Once you're happy with the changes, you can proceed to Publish your site by selecting that option at the top.

If the Online Site button is showing a blank pop-up, try clearing your browser cache or using an incognito window

So to access the new Hidden item am I going into the item in Item Library and then scrolling down to the "Search Engine Optimization (SEO)" section and grabbing the Preview link from there? It seems to be a little glitchy creating that link based on the item's visibility though. Sometimes it just says "example.com".

I'm a little confused about the the Site Editor preview advice you have. I don't have Hidden items show on my website so they are not there in the Online -> Website -> Edit Site. Anything that I create in the Item Library and set to Visible automatically shows up on my live website in the correct category and order without me having to publish anything in the site editor. I can just view my live website to see Visible items. I'm wanting to see them in Hidden status like before.

Both clearing the browser cache and using an incognito window did not work for the Online Site button. The "Online Site Preview" pop up window spins for a few seconds like always and then is blank. This still happens in both the regular Chrome window and the incognito Chrome window.
