How do I send customers a link to a hidden item on my website?

This used to be an option but I can't see how to do it now!

I want to send a link to an item in my online store that I have as "Hidden". They should still be able to add the item to their cart along with other items and then have shipping costs calculated like a normal order. I used to be able to do this but the option seems to have disappeared. Payment links don't work for this because they only allow the customer to pay for the one item and shipping isn't calculated.

@odysseyart Recently, Square changed how hidden items behave: if an item is marked “Hidden,” the product page still exists, but it’s no longer orderable (the “Add to Cart” button disappears).

Below is one way to get around it.

Unhide but Remove from Navigation

Instead of marking the item as “Hidden,” keep it visible but remove it from your categories and menus.
This way, only people with the link can find it, but the item still acts like a normal product (Add to Cart + shipping)

I agree - what a painful way to do it. It used to be just an option to 'send direct link'!
