We create catered dinners that can be picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4-6 pm. Sometimes we have other meals like Mother’s Day. If a customer puts multiple meals in the cart, we would like customers to choose pick-up or delivery by meal (a specific category of items) with the delivery fee applied per delivery. All non- meal items just go along with the next meal (pickup or delivery). Doing it as a variant fixes the delivery charge element, but is confusing at checkout where you pick a fulfillment option for the cart.

I'd be happy to look into this for you. I definitely see how beneficial this could be for your business model. To make sure I'm understanding correctly, what website builder did you use to make your site? Wix, Weebly, WooCommerce, GoDaddy?
