From my understanding, Weebly was acquired by Square. I understand the desire of Square to make Square online more accessible and easier to use than an advanced website builder. However, I don't understand why the feature of automated email campaigns available through weebly promote is not available for Square online? For someone running an e-commerce site, automated emails seems almost to be a necessity. By automated emails, I mean pre-determined messages that get sent automatically when an action is taken such as purchasing a particular item or filling out a form such as a wholesale request form.

This feature is apparently already within Square's ability, as weebly is able to perform these functions already. I would not like to use weebly anymore, as Square online seems to be continually improving, but I do not want to move completely to Square online until this feature is added. Square marketing only appears to be useful if you have an in-person store, whereas this feature would be mostly for those who have an online store as their primary point of sale.
