Appointment availability in online store

I have added square appointments action button to the front page of my website. I would like for my customers to be able to book their own parties (t-shirt business) online. However, it asks them to long in and takes all of their information, but it doesn’t allow them to choose a date or time. It’s all grayed out. I’ve been researching this and looking for an answer for two or three days with no luck. Any pointers?
Ps- I’ve already read the “online booking with square appointments” article. And watched the videos. No luck.
