Facebook intigration - Inventory showing Out of Stock on FB

The integration through Weebly and Facebook works great! Items sync.

The problem is, inventory #s are not transferring over. Facebook is showing all my inventory as 0 and out of stock.

This is the message I see in my catalog manager

The availability of this product is 'in stock' but its inventory is equal to 0. This is contradictory, please fix this in your data source.

Thanks for posting and welcome to Seller Community, @Thumper369.

I checked with our engineering team it seems like this happens in certain circumstances when the Facebook page exists prior to syncing with it, rather than creating a page during the process. It looks like our engineers have reached out to Facebook to see if we can make some changes to sync inventory in that case. I don't have any further updates right now, but hopefully they can make some changes to support that.

For anyone wanting a interim fix. Try this. It worked for me as a stop-gap.

Log into your Catalog Manager on Facebook
Choose Data Sources under configure
Click on the blue hyperlink name of your square dataset
Select the settings tab
under Data Feed Rules - Click Add Rule
Choose the Set default values option
Under Column choose inventory
Under default value put a number. I put 1
Then save and apply. It will re-proccess your most recently updated items. I then went in and updated in my Square online store items settings, other items I wanted the default value to populate on

Is there still no fix for this? I'm having the same issue. All of my inventory is there, but stock says zero. Because of this I can't tag my products on instagram. Keeps giving me "The availability of this product is 'in stock' but its inventory is equal to 0. This is contradictory, please fix this in your data source."

Same issue. All my products are shown but unavailable as inventory is 0. Any fix yet?

I have now tried the fix that was mentioned in the thread and my items are now starting to show but with inventory of 1. It would be nice to recognize the actual inventory from square so as not to over or under sell. There has got to be a way to patch this, right?

It might be best to reach out to the support team directly for assistance. A rep will be able to go over the account settings to make sure it is setup properly. They can also check with the advanced support team to make sure there's no known issues at the moment.

We have the same problem. Square inventory is not syncing current with Facebook Shop/ Instagram. It is showing that it is available but 0 inventory. Also on some items, when the item is sold out, it still shows that it is available and shows 1 availabe stock. Can you help us with this?

For this particular situation, I will recommend you reach out to our support team so they can make sure that your inventory is properly setup to integrate with Meta.
