Small craft beer bar selling beer for curbside pickup. With the NYS Liquor Law now requiring food be purchased with each order, I am looking for a way to make it mandatory to add a particular food item to the cart before the customer can check out. I can't find anything like this on the support forum. Is this possible? Thanks & Cheers

Hello @allwhowander! 🍻

We don't have a way for the system to force customers to order certain items before they can checkout. This would be considered a feature request. An interesting one, though, because I haven't heard of a situation like yours. But I'm sure others are probably going through the same experience.

You could create a banner message on the main page of your Square Online site informing customers that they need to purchase a food item in order to pick up beer curbside. Hopefully they'll be alert and read that message before ordering.

That's the only real workaround I can think of at this time. But I'll definitely pass this feedback along to our Product team!
