Cancel Contracts sent to Clients

Not necessarily a discussion, but just a suggestion.

For the new contract option for Square, can you make it to where we can make an amendment to the contract if it's not signed and if we can cancel/terminate contract with a client if they cancel services? Also in our contract area, if we could delete a contract if it hasn't been signed as well.

I just think it'd be super helpful.

I've seen requests before about deleting contracts as well so it looks like you're not the only one looking for that.

Can you all also add back the start date and end date as well. That was so helpful not having it in the clauses.

Sorry, just thought of another thing that would make these contracts easier.. personalizes templates that let us put specific amounts, clauses, etc in them for us to send for a specific collection (I’m a photographer) we are offering instead of having to duplicate contracts and hope we get everything changed correctly.

I would also be interested in these options also, to be able to delete a contract if the client cancels. I would also like it if when the clients sign the contract, it gets attached to that client's information in the system. So you don't have to go to a separate area to see if the contract is signed. When you pull up the client, all their contracts are listed in their information.

Hello @CarlosD! I merged your question here. We don't have a way to delete them at this time but our team is aware that there are others who are interested in being able to do so. We'll post an update there if this ever changes.

I would also very much like to void and delete contracts. I have several that are unsigned due to customer cancelling. Please add this essential feature.

This question was poised in 2020, and it's now 2021. Are we able to cancel contracts unsigned by clients? I see edit, but I don't see cancel.

you cannot send a contract without an email. I still have clients that want it sent via mail, so I put in a placeholder email and choose the pdf version and then print and email. However now I have a bad email for that client and have to go back in and make sure I erase the bad email. i would like to send contract via text or us mail option. thank you
