Wix and Square inventory sync?

I'm looking for a way to upload my square inventory including photos to my wix website? Is there a way to easily sync it? Anybody know how to do this?

Hi there, @dema 👋 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Seller Comunity! Happy to have you join us!

While I can assist in the transition into Square's system, I can't speak directly to the integration process of specifically moving out to a Wix based account. My first suggestion would be to reach out to Wix Support to see if they have any suggested best practices.

From the Square side, you can easily download an item CSV file from your Item Library within the Online Dashboard to use on another platform. The one caveat here is that item photos will not be including.

I hope this at least points you in a helpful direction! Feel free to bounce back here if you have any clarifying questions, or simply want to let us know where you land.

Hey Joe, thanks for the efforts. Yea I'm aware of the CSV file option, I was hoping that they finally had a way to sync items and inventory between Square and Wix. It's been a long time that a lot of people have been asking for that. I hope this is something that is in the works and that it will release soon as it seems it hasn't happened yet. I use Square for a lot of things and I use Wix for my website, these 2 platforms really need to work together to integrate with one another on levels other than just payment. Thanks for taking the time to add some input. I'll update this if I find a solution.

Got it, @dema - thanks for the quick response! Wix and Square definitely have an integration in place, it is just the exportation of item specifics out of Square and into Wix that has no formal resolution.

That would be great as I know I'm not the only one wanting these 2 platforms to sync items and inventory. Its a pain to be uploading items and photos to each platform separately as well as constantly adjusting inventory. Thank you for passing it along.

Any updates to this thread? The online store on WIX is horrible to manage and would like to use our Square account for the entire online store instead of just receiving payments.

Any new information on this? I would like to have a "Shop Now" button that simply moves to the square ecommerce site. The better option is having an inventory sync process but this would need to be automated so that inventory count etc. in square matches inventory count on the site.

Migrate my Wix site to Square

Hello, We are trying to integrate the inventory from our online store with our in-store inventory. We have switched out POS system from EPOSnow to Square in the hopes it would integrate with our Wix website. However, this seems to be impossible. If there is not a way to integrate the two; is there a way for me to migrate the who wix store over to a square (weebly) website. I don't want to have to completely re-building my website just to have my inventory integrated. Thanks for any help!

HI, hopefully this can help.

Wix is an ecommerce platform that integrates with Square as a payment provider.

Square is a payment provider that obtained Weebly 2018 and is now a full ecommerce provider.

Square POS and Square Online Store can share inventory.

You would need to create a new Online Store on the Square platform.

I have a wix website that uses square. I also have square as my pos in store. However when a purchase is made online it does not remove the item from the inventory. It shows as a custom amount which doesn't do me any good. Will there ever be a full integration?

Hey there @zorro at this time, our team has developed several APIs like the Catalog API that can easily make it possible for WIX to track and update your inventory here at Square. However, the integration that WIX uses at this time is our Payments API which only provides us the amount we need to charge your customer to settle the order they placed on your WIX website. I suggest you reach out to WIX to express your interest in this feature

Any info on integrating Weebly premium website with the square POS? I am in process of opening a retail location and don’t want to rebuild the entire site that I have and love in order to track inventory. I sell items that are one of a kind pieces so it is important to know if items have sold.
