Missing token

I am trying to upload a new library of items to replace my current library.

However, Square is not assigning a token, so when I try to find the item, it does not show up. I kept the tokens for the items I was not revising, so those work fine, but none of the new items are showing up.

How can I update the library if I don't enter something in the token field.

Check out the answer in this post on missing tokens from a csv import for a potential solution - it sounds like the original poster from that thread was having the same issue that you are.

Thanks for the tip. I checked out the other post, but for some reason, Square is not assigning a token. That is the problem. I assumed that it would, but it didn't. Maybe I should just come up with my own numbering system and let it go at that?

Are you exporting your items first, editing the export to add in new items/edit existing, then uploading that? Or is this a whole new CSV you're making separately?
