How do I change the orientation of item image

I'm just setting up our online store. We sell books and other things. Some images need to be portrait oriented and some landscape. How do I make that change as I add an item? It seems to only show the image sort of square. For the book, it crops the top and bottom, showing only the middle.

Are you adding photos to your items through the Online (Items > Item Library) portion of the Dashboard?

Or are you adding them via your Item Library within your Square Dashboard, @millsfriends?

You may want to try re-formatting your images before adding them to your items! This article from our Support Center includes detailed information about sizing of images and image ratios - if you haven't had a chance to take a peek, I'd recommend starting there. 👆✨
