Adding contract to invoice

I am having a difficult time adding a contract to and invoice. The contract was created under templates and I created an invoice and attached the contract. However, when I tested this process the contract is sent out but not the invoice. I only see two options in the under contract payments. On for no payment and another for add a payment. The add payment option asks for the payment amount but does not reference the invoice. Any thoughts on where I may be going wrong would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Community!

Whenever you created the contract - did you only create a template? Or did you create a contract for the customer you were sending the invoice too.

It sounds like that is where the disconnect is. Whenever you add the contract to the Invoice, you will see both when searching under the invoice to collect the payment.

Also, are you looking at this through the app or the Dashboard?
