Items Sale Pricing and Stock Not Syncing

I have a few items on sale in my dashboard. When I go to ring them up in person on my phone using the Square app, the items only ring up with the original price. How do I get this to show the sale price? Also, why does it still allow me to make a sale if the item is no longer in stock?

Welcome to the Community.

Do you have a discount set up for those items in particular? If not, you can set those up to automatically deduct from the payment total through your Dashboard.

On your Dashboard > Items > Discounts > Create or Edit existing Discounts

If you're selling those items from your Point of Sale app, you won't be able to stop from selling an item that is out of stock. Any negative inventory will be shown in your Online Square Dashboard.

On the flip side, if you're selling items through the Online Store - you will not be able to sell out of stock items and it will be marked "sold out".
