How to ensure free shipping is applied to total AFTER discounts.

I offer free standard shipping over £50 and free express shipping over £100. My problem is that this is calculated by Square on the SUBTOTAL BEFORE DISCOUNTS are applied. So if someone adds a 10% off code to a £50 order, they only pay £45 but still qualify for free shipping when they shouldn't. Its not too annoying with 10% as its only £5 difference (although all mounts up) but if someone has a 40-50% discount code (i allow my stockists to order online with their code if they want, or sometimes do 50% off offers) they are paying only £25 and still getting free shipping.

I've tried setting it up with the rates section, where it is £0.00 between £50-99, and i've also tried setting it up under the 'free shipping' section for £50-£99. But i have the same issue. It even says "The basket subtotal before discounts, taxes and fees must be equal to or greater than the specified minimum and equal to or less than the specified maximum" - but i don't want to do it on the subtotal or before discounts!!

Can this be fixed so its on the post-discount total??

At this time, shipping charges being applied after discounts is a feature request.

I would recommend exploring our Ideate board for Square Online to add your voice to this request if it already exists, or add it as a new post. Our team updates the status of requests whenever new features are launched.
