@EOT Have you considered migrating over to a square site on weebly? I don't know what kind of site you have, but the square sites on weebly have the ability to use alot of custom code in places with decent templates. You might try going into square and setting up a site (you can have more than one now) and testing it out and see about maybe migrating away from 2 separate versions. I have recommended this to more than 1 person who was using a squarespace site and it ended up being a much better option long term.

I sometimes challenge people to look at problems from other directions. I tend to get stuck on a solution when there may be another way, because I am so stubborn.

But you can try out the square version and it will give you a generic url you can play around with.

Feature Request: Full integration with Weebly

I assume there is already a feature request for this? (I couldn't find it through search).

All Square apps (especially POS) should have the ability to fully sync with existing Weebly e-commerce sites. I have read several old discussion about this, but have not seen any updates.

I hope this will be completed soon? I just talked to Square tech support today and they confirmed that yes, even 3 years later, square apps (like POS) still cannot fully sync with a Weebly website. If Weebly is now "powered by square", how is it possible they have not yet integrated the two together? This would make all their apps and products far more useful and powerful. It's baffling they have not figured this out.
