Inconsistent results when using "create payment link" on the Item Page

When I click on the "create payment link or buy button" on the item page, it creates a link. However, sometimes that link immediately works and sometimes it does not. What's the trick to getting it to consistently actually create a "live" payment link? Sometimes I get a "page not found" message and sometimes it displays the correct page.

Welcome back to the Square Community, @JKO! Although I'm sorry to hear that this issue with your Payment Links is what brought you here 😞

Our Engineers mentioned that we were experiencing some issues with Payment Links showing an "Oh no, something went wrong." error on the Square Dashboard yesterday, but this has since been resolved. I wonder if this is possibly related 🤔

If you've run into this issue a few times, and it eventually ends up working correctly without you changing any settings, this may likely be a bug.

I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

I decided that sometimes I try to use the link before I save on the page where I created the link, and that's when it doesn't work...
