Photos are not populating for categories on square online.

Our site is showing nested categories for each of our items. In the image below, you can see where the root category is food. Then the primary category for this item is favorite street tacos. Lastly the item name is brisket tacos.

If i click the link that says food, it pulls up a list of our food categories. But none of the categories have any photos. The image below shows what happens if a user clicks on food. No images are present.

All the categories have images and the images need to be displayed. Thanks.

HI, have you added a general image to the Category? It will not automatically pull an image from the items in that category.

Thanks for the reply, Terri. Yes, we do have photos of all our categories. This is the reason I opened the ticket. The category photos are not being displayed.

Hi, do you have items listed in the Category itself? The main category needs to have 0 items and the sub-categories do have items.

Yes the root category has no items. It only has categories. Thanks.

It is not published yet. We are still building the site. However, if the behavior is doing this in the test site. It will also do it in the live site.

I'd recommend reaching out to our direct E-Comm team to troubleshoot further. They can also file a ticket for you if need be that we aren't able to do from the Seller Community since it's for seller to seller conversations.
