Omitting the www. subdomain by default

I've seen in other threads that Weebly automatically directs custom domain traffic to the www. subdomain. My custom url (octagon.city) looks better without it. How can I configure our site address to go naked and not use the subdomain? Thanks!

Can you clarify what you mean by this, or what thread you are referring to? The www subdomain will forward to the domain name, and the website will not display "www" in the address url.

Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding the question.

I have 2 sites with square online. I'd like to not use www subdomain, but the connected domains automatically 301 redirect a naked subdomain to www.mysite.com
