Online store will not sync with item library

I am trying to set up self-serve ordering for my tasting room. All of the items I want to use are in the online item library with the fulfillment set to 'self-serve ordering.' When I go to edit my website and add an item to my "featured menu items" page none of the item in my library show. I don't even get an option to import or select items from the library. In addition, I attempted to create a new item within the "featured menu items" page. The item was then created in the item library but does not show up on the "featured menu items" page where I created and wanted it on to begin with. What am I doing wrong? I can't create a new menu item and I can not get any items from my library to show up.

HI, hopefully this will make sense. When you create an item, it still needs to be assigned into the Featured Menu items to display (even though you created it within that Featured display). Yes, it is an additional step to complete the item.

Any item you wish to display within the Featured Items section needs to be selected and assigned to that section.

As @Goldneye stated you should be able to add the items to the Feature Items section. Can you post a screenshot of the page/section you are editing? Can you also let us know the name of one of the items you are trying to add? Thanks!
