How do I add labor to a business which does repairs on electronics?

I want to be able to have part price in my inventory so I can update as needed if the supplier changes prices. However, I can't find a good way to add my labor fee to the actual repair without just changing the part price.

I also don't want to use modifiers, because I don't want the customer to see the labor charge (I don't want to hide where my prices are coming from, I just think it makes the page ugly to have a selection field that doesn't change.)

Is there a better way to do this?

Hi CHISMGR,

That's an interesting question for sure - not sure how you could hide your labor costs unless you're just adding that amount to the price of the part. But, it seems to me that, your labor costs would be different for each job if time based, guess I'm thinking car repairs where they have a flat rate based on the amount of time the repair takes. Perhaps, someone else has some thoughts.
