How to List a Category as On sale

Is there a way to put an entire category on sale on my online shop? I can only find information on "coupons," but that's not what I'm looking for. For example, I want to put all "Cookware" on 20% off without the customer having to key in a coupon code.

Hi @AbbeDiaz

You can absolutely do this! Here's the steps that I follow:

1. Once you're logged into your Square dashboard, go into Items

2. From the menu on the left, select Discounts

3. Click Create a Discount

4. Here you'll give it a name, type in your % or $ amount off

5. The under Automatic Discount, Toggle the Discount Rules to ON and you'll see the option to apply to an Item or Category. This is where you can select the category you want to put on sale.

The only way I know how to make the red "on sale" sticker show up on your online items on the website is to list "sale price" on the particular item in Square Online > Items. And you've got to make sure you have the Sale Indicator ON under Item Preferences. All of that is done on the Square Online side.
